For professionals
You do important work. You deserve to be represented with care.
Ayla & Storm represents experienced childcare and private household professionals, and introduces them to families who value judgement, discretion, professionalism and long-term fit.
We are selective, but we are not distant. You will always speak with a person, know which household you are being considered for and hear honestly where a role is or is not right for you.
Who we represent
Professionals across the private household.
- Career, live-in, travel and rota nannies
- Governesses and educational nannies
- Nanny–family assistants
- Family assistants
- Household managers
- Maternity nurses and newborn care specialists
The pathway
How representation works.
- 01
Introduce yourself
Complete our application so we understand your experience, the households you work best in and the kind of appointment you are looking for next.
- 02
A personal conversation
If your experience aligns with the searches we conduct, we speak with you properly — about your working style, judgement, boundaries and what you want from your next role.
- 03
Assessment and verification
References, applicable checks and role-critical qualifications are confirmed before any introduction. We also record a short role-specific video so families hear from you in your own words.
- 04
Considered introductions
You are only put forward where there is a credible reason to believe the role, household and expectations align. You always know which family you are being introduced to and why.
- 05
Interviews, offer and settling in
We prepare you for interviews and trial days, communicate feedback honestly, support the offer and check in with you through the settling-in period.
Baseline standards
What we ask of every professional.
- Verifiable professional childcare or private household experience
- At least two contactable professional references
- Willingness to complete background and driving checks where applicable
- Current first aid or paediatric certification where relevant to the role
- Clear, respectful communication and a discreet approach to privacy
- Reliability, sound judgement and appropriate professional boundaries
Requirements vary by appointment. Where a role calls for additional screening, qualifications or experience, we tell you clearly before an introduction is made.
What to expect
Clear, respectful representation.
Professionals never pay a fee to introduce themselves, apply for a role or be represented by Ayla & Storm.
Your information is handled discreetly and is not shared with a family without an appropriate reason and your agreement.
Role expectations, location, schedule and compensation are communicated as clearly as possible before an introduction.
We do not put professionals forward simply to increase the size of a shortlist. Introductions are made where there is a credible reason to believe the role and household may align with the person’s experience, working style and expectations.
We represent strengths honestly and expect the same professionalism, discretion and clarity in return.
Introduce yourself
Introduce yourself directly.
Because every introduction is reviewed personally, only professionals whose experience may align with current or likely searches may receive a direct response.
Please do not include identity documents, background-check details, passport information, precise home addresses, medical records or other sensitive documents in an initial introduction.
